The French girl who wants to be a Giraffe
Originally from Reunion Island, a small, very small French Island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, I used to have the most boring life ever...and then South Africa happened!
In January 2014, my son, who was only 7 years old, and I decided to leave our island for the big African continent, and opened an lodge between the Kruger Park and the Blyde River Canyon, Mariepskop View.

It was not easy (It is still not) but it is so much better than what we use to live! I am so glad to be able to offer this life to my son, who speaks now 3 languages (English, Afrikaans and French of course)

My only "regret" is that I didn't start to write that blog earlier.
